Climate Conversations

We consider climate change the defining moral issue of our times— challenging our understandings, calling ever more profoundly on our testaments of faith, our reservoirs of hope, our shared humanity, and inspiring us to action

Our world is changing, and we are changing it. LET’S TALK ABOUT IT!

In living rooms and classrooms, boardrooms and libraries, community centers and fellowship halls - anywhere people congregate - we are creating opportunities to openly, candidly and respectfully discuss issues related to climate change; to share individual beliefs, confusions, observations, fears and hopes; to explore practical ideas and available resources for creating a healthier planet.

Funded by Energize Delaware, we have hosted over 40 in-personal and virtual conversations, engaging 1,400 individuals. In post discussion surveys, 55-65% of participants have reported feeling more hopeful and more inspired to take action. They have overwhelmingly learned from, and enjoyed, these animated discussions.
