Offshore Wind: A Climate Conversation

As part of the Worldwide Teach-In on Climate #SolveClimateBy2030 on March 30th, we are going to have a discussion on a climate solution that can help us address climate change and accelerate to a decarbonized future! Princeton’s Net-Zero America study, released in December 2020, pointed to the need for wind power to grow at unprecedented rates to achieve net-zero emissions by midcentury.

We will hear from our Keynote Speaker: Prof. Willett Kempton, University of Delaware, a nationally renowned expert in offshore wind energy.

This presentation will be followed by a panel discussion with our guest speakers on their perspective on what can an Offshore Wind project mean for the state of Delaware.
