In living rooms and classrooms, boardrooms and libraries, community
centers and fellowship halls - anywhere people congregate - we are creating
opportunities to openly, candidly and respectfully discuss issues related to
climate change; to share individual beliefs, confusions, observations, fears
and hopes; to explore practical ideas and available resources for creating a
healthier planet.
Funded by Energize Delaware, we have hosted over 40 in-personal and virtual conversations,
engaging 1,400 individuals. In post discussion surveys, 55-65% of participants have reported feeling
more hopeful and more inspired to take action. They have overwhelmingly learned from, and
enjoyed, these animated discussions.
